A Month of Film Photography in Vietnam
A short(ish) video showing my month long tour of Vietnam. Visiting Hanoi, Sapa, Cat Ba/Lan Ha, Hue, DaNang, Hoi An, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Mui Ne and Ho Chi Minh City. All images shot entirely on 35mm film using Canon EOS 300 and Zeiss Ikon. Film stocks from Ilford, Kodak and Fomapan. Developed by Kirklees Photographic Video shot on Iphone and edited by myself in Adobe Premiere Pro. Thanks to Amber Edwards for the illustrations
A Month of Film Photography in Portugal (Lisbon and Ericeira)
This short film documents a photographic trip I recently went on. Spending 1 week in and around Lisbon and 3 weeks surfing with a close friend and mentor, Oscar Schenk, near Ericeira. It features hundreds of images created across 9 rolls of 35mm and medium format film - accompanied by a varied soundtrack and contextual videos. All photos were developed and scanned by Kirklees Photographic. A Self-Portrait
This is a short personal video I created as a small part of my A-level Photography project of 'What makes a person?'. Reflecting my mood at the time and referencing elements of my childhood. My interest at the time in self-portraiture also led me to writing a sixteen page essay: “Are selfies the most important form of self-portraiture or are they eroding the artform?”.
